– 3 lb golden potatoes cut into 1 inch cubes

– 5 cloves garlic minced
– 2 leaves bay
– 1/2 tsp turmeric (optional for color)
– sea salt and black pepper to taste
– 10 sprigs fresh sage leaves only ( or 3 sprigs of rosemary)
– 1 tbsp olive oil

– 1 cup raw cashews rinsed well
– 1.5 cups hot water
