Whole Grains

Whole Grains are a staple on a whole food plant based diet. They provide calories and energy needed on top of all the micro nutrients. 
 
I try to feature the powerhouses here, think quinoa (technically a seed), brown and black rice, farro ( an ancient grain), steel cut oats, bulgur, whole wheat bread and pastas. Enjoy the nourishing harvest!
